I'm so glad you're here.
The Oasis: Urban is dedicated to my home - a two-bedroom, duplex 2,000 square foot penthouse overlooking New York City. I've lived here almost 5 years, and throughout that time, I've worked to create my own perfect Oasis - a sleek, modern, and contemporary home adorned with some transitional traits, urban charm, and a little old Hollywood glam.
The Result: Monochrome modernity complete with mirrored pieces, Italian leather, cowhide, and seasonal contrasts from bright pink to black. Join me on the journey of design discovery and evolution - and learn my tips and tricks for creation your own Oasis along the way.
Rule of Thumb: Buy The Mirrored Furniture
You'll realize my affinity for mirrored furniture (and frames...and boxes...) very quickly. I haven't met a mirrored piece yet that I haven't loved.
Keep Calm and Change Often
To keep from getting bored, I switch up my rugs, pillows, and art frequently. It's easier than you think.

Mirror mirror on the wall - who's the best musician of all? This wall is the focal point of my living room. The idea lived in my head for years until it became a reality.

I fell in love with faces - unwittingly. My decor is covered with them - augmented by a miniature version of one of my favorite gothic cathedrals in Paris.
Color lives here - my love of monochrome is accented with vivid color, which is an instant mood booster.
